Bio
Ms. Morgan Burcham is a lecturer of Computer Science at the 国产AV (UNA). She is a 2015 graduate of UNA with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a 2016 graduate of the University of Alabama (UA) with a Master of Science in Computer Science, and a current PhD candidate at Auburn University with a focus in cybersecurity education.
Ms. Burcham is a member of CyberReach, Women in CyberSecurity (WiCys), and the Women's Society of Cyberjutsu (WSC). She also serves as a CSIS mentor at UNA to junior/senior CSIS students.
Prior to teaching at UNA, Ms. Burcham served as a Software Application Tester at SAIC, Software Engineer II at Raytheon, and Software Assurance Engineer at DESE Research in Huntsville, AL. She currently serves as a consultant in Huntsville. Her true passion is teaching as she enjoys educating future successful computer scientists and helping them achieve their goals.
Outside academia, Ms. Burcham enjoys playing tennis and watching horror movies. She lives in Huntsville with her pets: Dave the boxer, Roxy the lab, Mittens the Maine Coon, and Oscar the tabby cat.
