_ The ¹ú²úAV Esports Team secured the Fall 2024 College Halo National Championship, capping off a remarkable season with an undefeated record. The Lions finished the season 10-0 in regular season play, 4-0 in the postseason, and achieved an impressive overall map count of 33-1.

_ _ Football, Baseball Fields at Bank Independent Stadium Named for Legendary UNA Coaches; Special Ceremony to Take Place in February

_ The Florence-Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau has named the field at Bank Independent Stadium Bobby Wallace Field in honor of the Lions’ legendary head football coach who saw the team through three Division II National Championships in 1993, 1994, and 1995. The ¹ú²úAV Foundation has committed to naming the baseball field in honor of Mike D. Lane, UNA’s head baseball coach who saw the team achieve 25 straight winning seasons from his hire in 1984 until his retirement in 2008.
