A course map is a document that demonstrates how course and module/unit level objectives are aligned with course content, assignments, and instructional techniques. -
Quality Matters defines an alignment map or a course map as “a table used to organize course and module level objectives or competencies so they correspond to the assessments, activities, materials, and technologies used in the course” (2014, p.6).
