The Department of Geoscience at UNA offers three undergraduate majors: 1. Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree in Geography 2. Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science (GIS), and 3. Bachelor of Science degree in Sustainability. The Department also offers minors in: Geography, Geographic Information Science (GIS), and GIS Programming.
Geography

The major in Geographic Information Science (GIS) at UNA is a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) program and is designed to serve students who wish to prepare for careers in the more technical aspects of applied geography.

The major in Sustainability at UNA is a multi-disciplinary program that prepares students for green jobs in many fields related to environmental engineering, energy production, research and policy analysis, and more.
