The University Advising Services is the home for COEHS and CASE (first & second year students) advising, transition assistance, and academic & personal support at UNA. Our team is dedicated to helping new students adjust to college life, navigate their first year on campus, and supporting the transition into their academic program of study. We're excited to welcome all new Lions to campus and help them be Bold, Fearless, Confident, and Kind! Roar Lions!

The USC offers workshops throughout the semester that are open to any students. We will attend classes upon request to present on one of the following topics:
- Advising 101: DegreeWorks, The Advising Process, and How to Register for Classes
- Avoiding the All Nighter: Time Management
- Getting over the Fear of Testing
- Note-taking 101: Making Sense of the Lecture
- Study Smart: Using your Academic Resources

Tutor.com™ connects you with expert online tutors who can help you with over 200 subject areas, as well as provides access to study tools and lessons and instructional videos. This FREE tutoring service can be accessed from any Internet-ready device so you can have access to a tutor when and where you need one. To get connected to a live tutor, log in to any course in Canvas and select “Tutor.com: 24/7 Online Tutoring.”

The Center for Writing Excellence offers support for any writing assignment associated with a currently registered course.
The Mathematics Learning Center offers support for a math course in which a student is currently registered.
The USC offers several testing services including the GRE, ACT, SAT, PRAXIS, and CLEP.
The Testing Center is now located at East Campus.

You will be able to see at least two weeks of the advisors schedule on what they have available.

- You can come by our offices on the second floor of Collier Library anytime Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
