Excuses are given at the discretion of the Provider.
If you need an excuse, be sure to ask for it during your appointment. You will find your excuse in the messages tab of your patient portal.
The clinic is staffed by Board Certified Registered Nurses and Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners.
Yes, the providers at UHS may deem it necessary to refer you elsewhere for a higher level of care or specialty.
We will take care of the referral process for you. You may be asked to provide insurance information to facilitate the referral process.
No, UHS does not file any insurance claims. Questions regarding insurance coverage should be directed to your insurance company.
There is no “co-pay”, and any additional services, medications, or supplies rendered by our providers will be charged to you according to the student fee schedule. Charges are minimal and are discussed during the appointment.
If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
If it is not an emergency, but you want to be seen sooner than our next available appointment, there are several urgent care and walk-in clinics close by. Links below.
At UHS we provide: TDAP and Hepatitis B. We do not provide MMR (Measles, Mumps, & Rubella), varicella, or meningitis vaccines.
Local pharmacies, your primary care provider, or a walk-in clinic will be able to administer vaccinations.
