Mission, Vision, History
University Health Services (UHS) is dedicated to providing quality medical care to our UNA students and employees. In addition to addressing healthcare needs, UHS serves as a catalyst to infuse health into daily operations across campus. This aspiration for our campus community creates a culture of well-being, supportive campus environments, and thriving communities, thus improving the overall health of the people who live, learn and work on our campus.Healthy Lion Council
Healthy Lion Council (HLC) are student ambassadors that promote comprehensive health and wellness for UNA students via self-care events, programs and services throughout the academic year.
Prescription Drug Take-Back Box
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is October 28th, 2023!
Help keep our community safe by responsibly disposing of your unwanted or expired medication. Returning your unwanted medicines to a take-back program is the safest and most environmentally protective way to dispose of unused medication. Through our partnership with the Alabama Cooperative Extension Office and the University Police Department, we now have one available to us on campus. It is located at the first-floor entrance of the GUC. For an inclusive list of items accepted and not accepted, see attachment below.
