The Test

The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is a high-level mental ability test requiring the solution of problems stated as analogies. It is a computer administered test.

  • Room 101 at East Campus
  • East Campus is located near the Krystal's restaurant at 1640 Tune Ave, Florence, Al 35630. Please park in the back.

Test Day Tips

  1. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for instructions, with two forms of ID, one of which must have a picture.
    1. You will be checked in, registered and then seated at a computer to begin.
    2. Once you actually start the test, you will have one hour to answer 120 questions.
    3. The computer will close the test at the end of 60 minutes.
    4. If you decide you want to process your scores, your unofficial score will show on the computer.
      1. A printed copy of your unofficial scores will not be available. 
      2. Your official scores will be mailed to you approximately three weeks after your test date.
  2. You will need to provide your Social Security number on test day.
  3. A non-refundable registration fee of $75.00 must be paid prior to test day.

  4. No food, drinks, or headphones are allowed at computer stations. Do not wear a hat or a hood.
